First, an oopsie. There is no brake pedal overtravel switch on the 900. I can't remember what car does have it, but it sure isn't the Saab.

The brake fluid light is triggered by only two things - the float switch in the fluid reservoir, and low ABS pressure (less than 105 bar). There is only one pressure switch assembly plugged into the back of the master cylinder. It has two separate pressure switches inside. One opens and closes at 105 bar. It drives the Brake Fluid light, and also sends a signal to the ABS controller. The ABS controller keeps the ABS light ON and disables ABS if the pressure is less than 105 bar.

The other switch is closed below 140 bar, and opens at 180 bar. That is the switch that drives the ABS pump relay (and indirectly, the ABS pump). No lights involved.

So barring some weird wiring issue, only two places to look at for a stuck on Brake Fluid light - the pressure switch and the level switch. The level switch is easy to check - simply remove the connector (the level switch is the highest switch, by the reservior). If the Brake Fluid light goes out, then the float is stuck. It's entirely possible that the float got stuck in the down position during the brake bleed process.

If that doesn't do it, then it is likely the pressure switch. Since the ABS pump seems to cycle properly, it's not the high pressure side. However, if the low pressure side of the switch is stuck, it will inhibit the ABS (something you'll find out when you get the darn ABS light to work).
