Odd tire to spring clearance issue.

I have a 1986 SPG w/ 88+hubs on it.

For some reason the right side front wheel is a lot closer to the spring than the drivers side. On the PS I can barely get my fingers between the tire and the spring, on the DS I have lots of room.

I jest changed hubs, ball joints and I have the same problem (we thought the wheel bearing may not be pressed in all the way. the problem sill exists.

the only thang that is the same is the brake rotor, which is the thicker 9000 rotor.

Is there any possibility the thicker 9000 rotor is thinner where the wheel mounts up?

I have absolutely no idea what to look at.
the wheels have the same part number and offset.

I'm having a rotate and balance done tomorrow, so it may be a tire defect.
I'm looking at a 1/4 inch difference which may not sound like that much.

However, when you turn the wheel over to the left (sharply - like to turn around) the tire will rub the spring.

Any ideas?
