Wiring problems with stereo components

So, I have been asking a lot of questions lately, but this one is pretty simple, I would guess. I got a 91 900 turbo a week ago without a stereo installed. Someone had replaced it at one point because the wiring "clips" were all cut off and I went to a junkyard and got a new set of them. I rewired everything according to color and according to the wiring diagram in the manual. So, the stereo should work, but it doesn't. I used a voltmeter and found that I am getting no power to the system...if I read the meter right. So, I dug through all the wiring again and reattached everything trying to see if maybe one of my connections was bad...nothing changed though. So, I am wondering if I am getting no power how I could get some. I already checked the fuses, which aren't bad. One of the two that should be 15 amp is 10 amp, which I will replace today, but I don't think that is the cause of all of this. I am wondering what I should do at this point. I don't want to bring it to like a Best Buy or anything just to get a new stereo because I can't make this one work (I have two functioning stereos, but they aren't getting juice). Anyone have any ideas of what I could do?
