Aero wheel make spg feel unstable???

I just robbed the Aero wheels off my SiS and put them on the 91 SPG. Now it feels unstable at speed, almost as though I am on an uneven road. wtf??? The SPG wheels with bald pilots were very stable, and the suspension felt tight. Could the tires have anything to do with this, or is the added wieght and larger traction patch making possible worn suspension parts noticeable? They felt the same on the SiS, but I figured that was from trashed upper control arm bushings it has. What do you guys think?
