I put a later floor with the latch in my 85na. I liked the hinges, latch, tool kit tray and the recessed black washers for the hold down screws. Later trunk floors are readily available at the local wreckers in my area. Were quite cheap too. The first latched floors in the mid 80's aren't quite as good as the ones around '90'. The screws that hold the latch to the plywood floor are more secure in the later ones. The metal lip at the back of the trunk has a small reinforced steel clip that is rivered onto the body. This keeps the soft/thin body sheet metal from getting chewed by the latch hook. If you're really A R you could drill out the rivet and mount it on your body.
