It is a PITA on a turbo. Here is how I did it. This was on an 86T.
1. Jack up driver side and support with jack stands.
2. Remove the wheel.
3. Remove air intake plastic piece and plastic tubing.
4. Remove top of the air cleaner box.
5. Loosen 14mm engine mount crossbolt to get it out of the way of the oil relief valve nut.
6. Using a universal with a special 17mm socket (cut off) you can now remove the relief valve nut.
7. Remove the spring and use a magnet to remove the valve (you might have to start the car to push valve out with oil pressure)
8. Clean the valve and bore (brake cleaner) and reinstall valve and spring
9. Using a long extension with a flex shaft attached put the socket on after routing extension through the A-arm
10. Holding pressure against the socket drive reach up from beneath the car and line up nut and socket.
11. Tighten as much as possible with flex extension.
12. With universal on solid shaft extension tighten nut
13. Replace everything removed above.
