going way back in the day i had broke a terminal on my coil, and i was in a hurry to get another one, so i got the cheapest, fastest coil i could find.(nearest auto-parts store)
i think it was a del-col or something.
i installed it in a 900t
what happened with it was every-time the turbo would kick in the generic coil would have complete electrical failure and the motor would have no power for about 1 sec.
this only happened when the turbo was engaging.
seeing you have the 900s perhaps the coil you have is over do for a change,
you can always buy a coil and try it out, if the hesitation is still there bring it back,
might i add to only buy a bosh coil. most auto-parts stores only carry the generic coils.
most of the time they will say :(we have a 25$ coil 35$ coil and a 55$coil that will fit your car.) get the 35 or 55$ coil.
seeing your not dropping into a turbo the generic may be just fine.
keep the receipt and order a bosh from eeuroparts or saabnet, when it arrives bring the generic coil back.
(the bosh coil from the sight sponsors should be the same price you would pay for the generic coil, however the bosh will last you 5900000 years.)
..................
or it could be the spark plug with running from coil to dis.cap
put a puddle of water right in front of the car, get bare foot and step in the puddle.... now with the car running grab the wire.
clear case - if you get shocked you found your problem.
(warning - do not do this if you have a pace maker of any kind.)
better yet, don't do the puddle test. just replace the coil
if the problem is still there, replace the coil - dis.cap wire
