91 900sc, Fixed...Then Died..... no Spark....Help Posted by JLitten007 [Email] (#367) [Profile/Gallery] (more from JLitten007) on Tue, 10 Oct 2006 07:15:39 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Last week an alternator belt went in my 91 900S.
So I changed all belts and Alternator bushings..
Car ran great that evening. Next day on a short trip on the highway the car just dies doing 55 MPH. check engine light came on.
I've gone through no spark test as per Bentley. it's got battery power to EZK, Spark amp, and coil, So I'm thinking Hal sensor?.
Book says to check by slowly turning engine while checking voltage at plug. Can I use the starter to do this or do I need to manually turn it with tools?
Could a Saab Shop plug into the lamda sensor and read what's up.
Could a piece of the old broken belt have taken out my Hal sensor?
Thanks in advance.
Stumped..
