Up to and including 1987 uses the old calipers and front wheel E-brakes. Those are super easy. Just compress the brake pistons, remove the 2 bolts holding the calipers to the spindle and try to remove the line. If the line bolt refuses to spin on the tubing, you have pre-loosened the caliper so you can spin the caliper on the line. Then plug the line with cork/rubber, OR gravity bleed the system to totally replace old crappy fluid with new healthy fluid. If the nut is stuck, be careful. Don't break the line! Hit the nut with a blowtorch until redish and then try to gently spin it. Once it comes free, I like to use high temperature anti-seize to prevent it from sticking ever again. I know you bought replacement hose (great idea!), but try not to need it.
If you have a car from 1988 or later, you have E-brakes in the rear. That means you need to adjust the nut and also attach the cables. You may then need to finely adjust the E-brake at the inside of the car under the central console. Usually however that fine adjustment is not necessary.
