And I believe that he is talking about newer C900 91 - 93 and 94 vert seats that he is trying to retrofit into an 89. The problem is the width...the newer mounts are wider and sit on top of the floorpan with four attachment points...the older sit in to the floor with two hooks in the back and two torx bolts in the front with a much narrower profile. If you adapt the newer seats to a mounting plate than they will be about 3 inches or more too high....and are too wide to fit between the kickplate and the console...Anything is doable if you throw enough money, time, and ingenuity at it....my 2 cents
