So I got the new lock cylinder from eeuroparts installed, center console back together and trying to get the reverse rod/shaft to seat into the black grip on the shifter shaft.... whats the secret to getting it in there? Is it supposed to come all the way through the center hole and then hook across the top or only seat inside ? I don't see how I can hold the rod up while sliding the grip down the shaft
Thanks
