Forever I've had a rattle above my head, and the manual roof never closed snug, causing a noisy slight breeze atop my head at speeds. I first disassembled the roof and all the working parts to clean up the old dirty dry lubrication. Once relubed and ready for reassembly, it took me awhile to figure out the slide track hardware, but eventually figure out how to center the roof. Through trial and error I figured out the adjustment of the release/grip mechanism. The final adjustment was the tooth lined runner on each side that determine how the roof locks when fully closed. Once the forward nut is lossened, the entire track can be pried or pushed forward and back. The adjustment needed was less than an 1/8th inch, but it was enough for the roof to fully close. No more rattle and no more breeze. Whole thing took me about 2.5 hours.
