read canadiajim's post again... he did say six. by the way, the diameter of the center whole is also different between the 87 and older and the 88 and newer, yet another reason it won't happen.
lastly, for those that have only seen one or the other, the 87 and older wheels use lugs and nuts. This is a typical style for many years for most cars, it looks like four bolts sticking out of the hub, fixed, that you get to hang the wheel on, and then spin the lug nuts onto.
the 88 and newer doesn't have the lugs sticking out so the alignment pin was introduced to give you something to hand the wheel on while you start the wheel bolts in... It's more difficult than before, but there it is.
for the technically over the top, there is also a hole in the wheel for the air valve, it's just filled up with the valve, so theoretically that makes 7 holes on the newer wheels! ha ha ha!
