Make sure that's on the shifter assembly you get, in good condition. Also, a good rubber boot on shift rod, where it passes through firewall.
And you'll need the plastic console top for the manual shifter. It differs from auto trans version in that it has a sheet metal rim riveted onto it, for the shifter boot to stretch over and pop onto. If your auto trans plastic is in better shape, you can just drill out the rivets, and then pop-rivet that metal flange onto your auto trans version. They use I believe the same two screws to attach them to the shifter assemblies (revealed under the boot), so save those from your auto trans one or get them from the junkyard when you get your manual-version plastic piece.
(Stretch shifter boot out over metal flange at bottom, remove those two screws, then plastic piece lifts up at front, held in by ears at rear edge. Pull wires off interior light switch. Don't try to pull knob and somehow get shifter boot off shifter shaft over the reverse lockout collar to get it out of the way, it can't be done. Instead cram the shifter boot IN THRU the opening in the plastic console cover piece and you've scored the part you need. To install, do the reverse.
Console (or rather, between-seats shifter cover-emergency brake handle cover) is otherwise the same, auto or manual.
