My entire clutch system on my '90 had only 70k miles on it when the slave cylinder blew its seals. Since I was in there anyway, I replaced:
Clutch
Pressure Plate
Slave Cylinder
Master Cylinder
Hard Line (Master to Slave)
Throwout Bearing
Pilot Bearing
Rear Main Seal
Pilot Shaft Seal
Transfer Housing Seal
One liter DOT 4 fluid
Sealant for the flywheel bolts
Loctite for the three slave bolts
Be prepared to have the flywheel resurfaced
Brake cleaner (or carb cleaner, or other nasty solvent) to clean the flywheel & pressure plate surfaces.
I put all the "good condition" parts in my son's '85 (he needed an entire new clutch system as well), so I didn't feel so bad pulling out all the parts that had lots of life left. That way, he only had to pay for a new slave, bearings, seals & master rebuild kit.
If your hard line, slave & master are anywhere near 100k miles of use, I'd recommend replacing them now. Everything else should be replaced regardless, simply because their piece costs are too low to bother worrying about having to replace them in another 20k miles.
I'd recommend Sob Story for the parts. Jim loves beating eEuro's prices & he's got a ton of repair knowledge to boot. Get the 5-piece clutch kit to save some money & order the remaining parts as needed. If you order anything you don't use, Jim accepts returns. Of course, you won't get the parts in time for this weekend....
