I got DUSTED by a PT cruiser!!!

I was sitting at a traffic lite this evening at the base of a steep hill. Beside me was a rather unpretensious looking white PT cruiser. The light turns green, and I take up the hill pretty quickly, and wind up the turbo to scoot on up it. Suddenly, WOOSH, that little van breeses right by me. I get on it harder and wind the motor up a bit more taking off what I think is pretty quick, but I couldn't keep up with that little van.
As it buzzed on by me, I heard that all too characteristic whir, and on the tailgate "2.2 TURBO" Since when the heck did Chrysler start putting turbos in PT's!?!?!? Definitely dont' trivialize those things, some of 'em will suprise ya!!! I know back in the 80's Chrysler made some pretty nifty little Daytonas and LeBarons (even a few Caravans too) with that same motor. They also had a whole gamut of performance parts you could tweak them out with. I thought that Chrysler was out of the turbo business...darn if I was wrong!
