FYI to folks repairing window switches. (The individual ones, not the 91+ all-in-ones)
The toggle will snap on either way but the switch will only work if you install it the right way. Also the loose copper contacts that pop out when you take it apart only go in one way. (This may be specific to the "instant down" switches.) Anyway, I matched the wear patterns on the contact points to get things in the correct position.
Hopefully this post will aid folks searching the board.
