Turn the engine until the distributor rotor lines up with the #1 wire location on the cap. I'd mark the dist body with a crayon where the #1 wire is and then take off the cap.
Then, position the flywheel so that the 0 degee mark is at the top. Only one of the flywheel holes will be close to where the peg is.
