replacing it considering your responses and the fact that I always use mobile 93 octane , except for the rare cases when I travel out of the area and can't find a mobil station . even then I almost always find a major brand like sunoco or shell . I'll probably wait until around 60k to replace it . that will be about 2.5 years from now at my current rate of driving . I might not even still have the car at that point . its good to know I don't have to insist that my mechanic do something which he advises against . I can save that for when I really disagree with him .
