How did you remove the clutch the last time? A 5-gallon bucket handle or some copper ground wire from Home Depot works just fine (the bucket handle works better because it's less ductile than the copper). I realize that getting the clutch/slave out is a bit of a pain, but I don't think you'll be saving yourself any time by pulling the pins -- you have to compress the PP fingers anyway. Not try to dissuade you, but, personally, eh, I'd skip it...
