I think it is a conspiracy, not the continuum!!!
Thanks diskullman -- we who have a sense of humor can smile and be thankful of what we have, and what hasn't happened..............yet, anyway -- I'm checking the pressure in that spare today when I pick up the Landjet, after the unexplained gearset/ignition cylinder failure!
We had an icestorm that left about an inch of hardstuff on our part of the planet -- the wipers on my daughter's Blazer were intermittent, and so I managed to get it to the shop in the blizzard that followed. I swapped out the pulse motor circuit board for a quick $75 spanking at the dealer parking lot, and it did not restore the wiper operation, so I left it with them as it was undriveable in those conditions. Then, on the way back to pick it up after they said that it was fixed, the wipers on the Chysler T & C failed to operate. I got out and shook them to see if I could loosen up any stray ice. Pulled over to check the fuse.... OK.... got the inch of ice off the hood, so the hold open rod would not collapse......poked around at some ice and shook the blades again. Hmmmmm.....maybe if I pray.......or curse........
I let the hood down, and the wipers were back in unexplained operation. We took off to pick up the Blazer.....saw the car at the dealer, and Emily got out and turned on the wipers.....intermittently stopped in the middle of the sweep. Hmmmmm.... the bill was $420 now, so what did they not do? Let's see....new pulse motor circuit board that it didn't need, new wiper motor that didn't change the operation, and a new stalk last March that fixed the cruise control. It does need new wiper blades...........guess I better check the tire pressure in the spare on that car too.
