We ussualy use modified exp. tank's cover - with glued tyre nipple. But be careful, it's a piece of cake to blow up your expansion tank :)))
Profy use special fluorescent coolant additives. With this method you only need uv-lamp to find the leakage. Safe and fast but hard to find uv-lamp and/or fluorescent coolant additives.
You choose.

P.S.
Modified brake fluid tank's cover enables you do bleeding (of brake system) with no extra help and pretty fast. Simple pump it a bit and unbolt outlets (one by one). Watch for brake fluid level in tank.
