...I had these exact symptoms, and it was a loose nut. If it is the nut, it is an easy fix. I have had to notch the inner threads of the nut, coat with heat resistant loc-tite, and tighten the snot out of it.
P.S. - 33mm sockets are difficult to find since Sears stopped carrying them. There are online places that carry them. Might I suggest you get one made for impact wrenches, even if you don't use an impact wrench. My Sears socket exploded without warning and had never seen an impact wrench. The forces across it to loosen and tighten these nuts are large.
