OK,
Bearing is by FAG
Markings and numbers on inner race are clockwise starting with:
FAG
545495AD
CANADA
Z04-T (I think, the dash is hard to tell, as is the 'O' or the zero.)
The bearings are in new shape and feel good as they rotate. Seals are intact.
I'm not worried that these might not be OEM. After all, Saab had to buy them from somewhere. FAG is a likely source. And how do we define early failure? My driver side bearing is leaving the party after 125,000 miles. My CV axles need some loving too. I'll be fine if they last 10,000 miles fewer (in other words 115,000 miles.) I don't speed, and I don't race my car. And to be honest, I've seen some bearings in atrocious shape still perform pretty well.
