Well, I think i figured it out....and boy am I an idiot. I guess in the rush to get the car running before work tomarrow morning I just wrapped some electrical tape around the 3 wires coming out of the distributor, and then plugged them into thier respective slots in the hall sensor plug.
Well, needless to say (if you read the title) I didn't insulate the metal crimped part of the wires, so they were all nicely touching each other in the electrical wire bouque i made of them.
My next question will be: what are the effects of shorting all three hall sensor wires together? I'm going to post this question in a new thread, since I know that's what it is.....and don't want people to have to needlessly read through my posts on this thread.
thanks for the Angel network link, that may come in very handy if i need parts in short time.
