Mine's fine so far, but I've only started the car twice, one of those times the CEL lit up, so the jury is definitely still open on it. Do a search on "rebuilt AMM" or "Air Mass Meter" and you'll get the debate from a month ago. I'm also kind of dismayed that they don't appear to stand behind it too well; mine turned on the CEL (burn-off code) and they wouldn't take it back.
My current stance is to run it until the light comes on because (thank goodness) these are pre-OBD-II cars and the CEL will turn itself off when the fault is corrected.
Make sure EVERYTHING else on the motor is fine first- battery charged, O2 sensor has less than 60k on it, AIC motor clean, throttle body cleaned out (this is the easiest and most effective thing you can do), recent tune (cap/rotor/plugs/wires/fuel filter), and the throttle position swtich is adjusted (where necessary) and the engine temp sensor (NTC sensor) is providing the right reading.
With my ('92 S with LH 2.4.2) car, the light was really being kicked on by low battery voltage (car's in storage) and a flaky TPS (throttle position sensor) that didn't show any obvious drop-outs on my meter. I charged the battery, cleaned the contacts, replaced the TPS, and no more CEL. Yet.
We'll see next summer, but for the time being I need to get the four-door through the winter safely and reassemble the convertible's interior.
