Need help with 1984 Fan Wiring!!!

Car is an 8-valve, MY84, U.S. base model. I'm troubleshooting radiator fans that don't run (I mistakenly left a tool on the cross-member that got caught in the pass. side blades when the fans began to cycle; the pass. side fan abruptly quit, while the driver side got a second of power to spin up, then it coasted down to a stop.)
Assumption: I blew a fuse.
Problem: the fuse panel has a fuse for the fans, but there is only ONE terminal at the fuse, down in the socket hole. Is this normal?
Relevant Info:
1. The fans still work: The pass. side fan that got the stuff stuck in the blades runs when I apply 12V. Also, the driver side fan runs when I turn on the A/C.
2. The fans do NOT run when I bypass the temp switch in the rad.
Is there an inline fuse on the 84 base models, and, if so, where is it??
