Shifter ajustment.... Is this right? Posted by JLitten007 [Email] (#367) [Profile/Gallery] (more from JLitten007) on Fri, 22 Dec 2006 13:50:03 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I think I know what I'm doing but would not mind so help if I'm wrong.
Have 89 900T. I'm tiring to get the shifter rod back to tranny and adjusted.
So... With the Shifter is in 3rd gear... The two holes should line up on the rod and housing. With a Drill bit or similar tool inserted.
Question. The shift rod.. "Goes through the firewall" connect to the Tranny. Do I pull the Tranny coupling as far towards the firewall as I can ?? Then with the Rod and Sleeve holes aligned I can then tighten the pinch bolt around the Shifter rod?
Hope this makes sense to someone.
Thanks And Happy holidays.
