YO:
remember when CD players were a new thing...and portable CD players debuted?
THere were these silly tape deck converters...you would plug into the CD player earphone out and put in the fake tape into your tape deck....
WORKS great for cars with a tape deck...just use the I-pod earphone jack instead of the fancy proprietary connecter at the bottom.
Get ahold of one of those...I have that system running on my 99 VW passat that somehow has a tape deck in the cabin.
I do know that there was a 6 disc option on the 92 900s, but not sure about the 90...It was an OK system, but loud changer....I ripped mine out....but it was because someone stole the CD/EQ out of my car (bastard fellow saab owner for sure)...
Replacement speakers for hte Convert are tricky I think...The fronts are 4 inchers, the backs are 6 I think...
If so, you can get some great 6 inchers....equal to 6x9, but probably a bit more expensive.
Don't spend more than 50 for the front, 90 for the back...its a waste unless you are driving them with a great AMP.
