Is there an eco-responsible way of doing this? I manage my fluid levels pretty well and none are indicative of impending doom, so I don't spend much time or money worrying about where they leave the system. However, it would be nice to 'clear the slate', clean the entire engine compartment of accumulated oils, sludge, and debris and see what needs to be fixed.
A friend suggested a case of Foamy Bright, a Haz-Mat suit with goggles, a plastic bag to cover the distributor and then a trip to the local car wash and its power spray wand, but I'm not sure that's the way to go.
Alternatives?
