I have to admit that i am cautious about recommendations from alignment places- particularly ones that also sell tires or do "tune-ups" and other mechanical work. That said, i don't know anything about the people you are using. They may be great and very familiar with SAABs.
My feeling is this: If you notice no wear problems with the tires on the rear and no driveability problems then you then you can leave things alone. As others have indicated, rear wheel alignments do no tend to gradually "drift" out of specification. They go out of alignment as a result of hitting a curb, a giant pothole, or another car.
