Transmission fluid leaks are pretty easy to cure, lucky for you! The gearbox lube is completely separate from your motor oil, or at least it really should be. There's a big, thick casing in between the two.
For transmission fluid leaks, check the timing chain cover (just behind the radiator) and the clutch shaft cap in the top of that cover (held on by a rectangular metal spring clip). After that's done, check the two side covers on the transmission below the exhaust manifold. If you can't detect anything dripping out the sides or bottoms of those, you probably have a leak at the rear main cover. This is an octagonal cover on the extreme lower rear of your transmission.
If the shop forgot any of the 11 (I think) bolts and one often-forgotten nut holding the engine and transmission together, chances are it'll leak. Both of mine tend to drool a little bit, but nowhere near enough to detect any loss over a 5000 mile oil change interval (I drive non-turbos).
