sounds like a clogged fuel filter
i would check that first, then maybe the fuel pump or the inlet sock in the tank.
if you do it yourself and you have the facilities, blow through the fuel line (inlet side) with some compressed air (back into the tnk) to clear the scudge off the sock.
when was filter last changed? i have seen them plug up again within weeks. don't ever get gas when you see the gas truck. they dump 2000 gallons in a few minutes, and all the crap on the bottom of the in-ground tank ends up in your filter.
