it is easy if you have the right tools and a lift.
warning, when doing the fronts you better have a good spring compressor and you better know what you are doing, the compression is very high and some people could get hurt badly if the springs jumps, slips or the compressor sperates some how. ((KEEP YOU FACE FAR FROM IT))
1- for the front, you need a good compressor and an impact gun. and you will need to keep adjusting the spring in the compressor untill you get a good angle. it is usually easier when the shock it out so you have more room to play with. if you are installing shorter springs you might not need the compressor on installation only. some lowering springs are made short enough that a compressor is not needed when placing them, however the shock would have to be loose on the bottom.
2- the rear is easier and not as bad depends on the springs you will be placing, you will need make sure that the car is raised as hi as you can very secured if you are gona be laying on the floor. also you need a flooe jack to help you compress the springs while catching the bolts.
in the rear also be carful with your abs wires if your has abs. i would unplug the sensors let the wires hang from the calibers far from your work area to avoid damaging them.
even if you have a shop do it remind them to get the abd wires out so they do not get pulled. (under the back seat you can unplug and remove the rubber body grommet etc and let them hand underthe car.
also if you are adding shorter or lowering springs make sure to cit at least 1" of the bump stops while they are out. (front only)
good luck. and be careful.
