Typically (on my 4 cars) i have been able to get fluid out of the clutch slave nipple just by opening it up and letting gravity do the work. In other words, i would think that 10 lbs of pressure should be more than enough to do the job. Two things that i would check:
1. Unscrew the bleed nipple all the way. Take it out and clean it to make sure that corrosion or grease hasn't clogged it up.
2. Have you changed the master cylinder recently? Even if you haven't, it would be worthwhile to double check that the clutch feed nipple on the master cylinder reservoir has been cut off. Sometimes they even forget to do this at the shop when they change a MC.
I would try these first before attempting to reverse bleed. I know that there are many members on this board who use this method successfully and it is in some ways completely logical as it follows the path of the rising air bubbles. However it is not my preference as it will contaminate the fluid in the reservoir.
