i do have an abnormal excessive shake, its been going on for,.. i would approximate 4 to 5 months.
it all started when i put new brake rotors on, and pads.
took her out on the hwy and hit mock 1 (round 110mph)
as i was coming up on two cars in the right lane, one of the cars thought it would be a good time to pass the other.
so as i was in speaking distance the car pulled in front of me.
(now this was the first and only time i really used these new rotors and pads) the car went from 110 to 35 in 3 sec.
on the last sec. it felt as if the brakes or a caliper had just fell off, and the smell of burn hair was thick.
on the next exit i pulled of to check if i had brake fluid spillage somewhere, and to see if the wheels where still one the car.
as i pulled off the hwy i applied the brake once more and it felt as if my rotors and pads where made of glass, along with my soon to get to know real well shaken and rattling,
the car turned out to be intact and the smell of burnt hair went away after 2 hrs.
now seeing how the rotors and pads where no more then 2 days old, and now they just happened to be trashed, (more warped then the curve on the earth) i thought i might as well drive on them for a bit, it got to be every time i would come to a stop it sounded and felt like an air plane coming out of flight right when it hit the tarmac, that bump over and over.
so as of now she sits outside with the wheels, rotors, and pads removed from the car,.. ((waiting on fed-x))
i would think now that you mentioned it that my warped rotors was the primary cause in my hose shaking
but just to let you know that the metal rap can and will eat your ac high pressure hose, it takes an abnormal event but its one expense i can take care of with ease.
