So sorry to hear this! Hope you reach a successful conclusion, but if you are like me there can't be one now, the bargin can't be realized...
As I read your post it reminds me of the items I've received over the years from individuals, manufacturers, and known resellers and the range of attempts at good packaging done.
The worst always centers around a cardboard box, two or more items, one heavier and indestructible, and the other items lighter and *not* indestructible, and styrofoam "peanuts'. you receive a cardboard beanbag, the heaver item has, in a manner the military would rightfully find impressive, moved around the interior of the 'container' seeking out (during it's five day mission) anything to destroy, and accomplishing same. It never ceases to amaze me that both casual and daily shipping/packing folks think that a box full of styrofoam peanuts is the answer to every shipping requirement. It's just sad...
