Bert:
I handled this as part of replacing the rusted-through driver-side upper control arm on my borrowed '89 last week. It's part of the exhaustive detail in my post of March 19, "Replaced control arm, engine in car." I haven't bothered to figure out how to link things here so search "More from RayF" and scroll down to it.
About the same as Emil's 'cept I had to deal with lots of rust and grime and griped about it as well as offering tips on cleaning it, and tips on wrenches to use, angles of attack etc. Yours will have ABS as I guess his did. I thought that might make removing alternator a little tougher without disconnecting heater hoses but I guess he and I did it the same.
The toughest part is those four 12 mm-headed bolts holding mount to block. Two of my four turned easy as did his but it still takes patience cracking them loose and re-tightening, and if they are hard going you NEED that patience.I like Emil's trick of making rear lower bolt hole into a slot but I also like my trick of running that bolt thru a strip of cardboard and using that as a handle to hold it up and into place till it's started.
Good luck and have fun.
