In a classic 900 SAAB...there is no way for oil to "Drip" or leak onto a clutch Disc. the rear MAIN Crank seal is behind the flywheel...oil cannot get from there up onto the disc...Impossible.
There are two possibilities happening here.
#1)The disc has frozen (stuck) itself onto the slined shaft and cannot move freely..This could occur if the storage area were a litle damp or the person that installed the clutch left the shaft "Bone Dry". If this is the case, the clutch may break loose from the shaft within a few days of normal driving. Don't let it slip too much or you will have Blue burn spots in the flywheel and possible hot spots on the disc 9warpage)
#2 Moisture in the brake fluid that operates the clutch slave cylinder has caused the CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER bore to corrode and not allowing the throwout bearing to "backoff" all the way.
good luck
