per,
i looked and the hose i was thinking about is for the water coolant tube that runs beneath the intake runners and pops up between two runners (i did have it).
the one you need (the larger of the two valve cover pressure releif vacuum lines) goes to the air intake pipe just downstream of the AMM. You can use any high quality hose of proper inside diameter. im not sure what that is. the other smaller hose from the valve cover comes out, attached to essentially what is a pcv valve (not a ball type but a diaphragm type), and then runs to a port on the throttle body.
you can get the valve from several suppliers well known on this site. i bought mine from a saab dealer.
