... I would check out the hall sensor on the distributor. Look at the connector and see if it is cracked, broken or just moving around a bit. Unfortunately I don't know any definitive way of testing it and you will need to rebuild the distributor to replace it. The last time I had trouble with my Hall sensor I grabbed a can of freeze spray from a computer tech and I would spray it into the distributor to cool off the electronics. That would usually work to get me home until I was finally able to rebuild the distributor. Good luck.
