I was a dealer who specialized in older European cars and I still try to stay on top of the market. In an area that includes Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois, checking all the major sources, I haven't seen more than about a half a dozen C900's of any kind for sale in the last year. The last time I checked, there were more Triumph cars for sale on e-bay than there were C900's. My point? I've been saying it on this board for some time, if you have a C900 hang onto it, if you want a C900 buy one now. The demand is beginning to far exceed the supply and prices are starting to reflect it. Because they had more value, convertibles were less likely to go to the wrecking yard over a trans faulure etc. so they are the most plentiful (and most of them were autos). Automatics were less likely to have had the whee run out of them, so there are more survivors. You're going to have to look on a national basis and be willing to travel to find what you want. You need to move fast, be decisive and don't get too coy on the asking price.
