replaced heatsheild and when I reconnected the down pipe the cat sits against it far to the passenger side..rubs against it and now vibrates car at idle. the old one was rusted away so it didnt make noise. the exhaust follows straight after the cat converter. never noticed\remember if it was even out of alignment before i did heatsheild work..? can i just unbolt the downpipe at turbo and realign it? it seems as if it only goes on just one way and there is nothing that I can really do? how would I fix this?
