long time no talk! hockey fever up here ... and car repairs of course.
have done a ton of work on this $300 red 91 2.1L to get it as a daily driver but since the body is in such good condition i'm considering using an old 89 SPG for parts and converting the 91 to turbo (entire dash swap etc).
i see in earlier posts you've done that ABS delete and turbo conversion but dont have diagonal braking. To solve that issue i have an 88 rear axle ready to drop in, then migrate the missing rear brake line from the parts car and i'd have diagonal braking, no?
However i really like the brake job i did on the car - there is no pedal slack, very little effort required and having ABS is kinda cool too, especially up here in the snow. i notice that a replacement ABS pump for this car from eeuro is about $1,400 so i'm keeping my eyes peeled at PYP. Perhaps to avoid the whole brake conversion fiasco i should just do an LPT setup using the 89's parts but its a hell of a lot of work too...
hmmmm...
