hi, I would first check that all of the vacumm lines are attached and there are no leaks. the next thing would be the Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR). It is on top of the engine and towards the windshield. It has a vacuum line running to it on top, and a fuel line into it and one out of it going to the fuel rail that the injectors are attached to. WAIT! stand on the passenger side of the car and pull gentley the vacuum hose of the FPR. if gasoline squirts out (it can happen) it will be towards the drivers side, and the FPR needs replacing. If there is any odor of gasoline in the vacuum line, strong odor, the FPR needs replacing. there is a membrane in the FPR to keep the vacuum on one side and the gasoline on the other, if gas comes across the membrane is bad.
Also, did you pull the spark plugs to check condition and gap? Cap to check it's condition as well as the rotor?
Give these a look and get back to us.
