Thanks Gary,
I have been troubleshooting this morning, and a couple things puzzle me:
Battery voltage is dropping
Can't seem to determine if the solenoid is getting 8 volts from ignition switch; i am toying with idea that as i was replacing the e brake cable last week, maybe i loosened some wire around that area, but i don't know which terminal in the ignition switch is 50, the one that goes to the solenoid (bentley claims), so can't test that yet.
The other problem is that with the battery being decharged (around 10 volts), i can't know for sure if these tests are even worth it at this point. The battery was fully charged and no crank, but i can't for the life of me figure out what the short might be, or why it seems to be decharging. Oy.
thanks again
