When reading your post, I thought it was best to describe the match between the zero mark on the flywheel, and that the #1 cylinder should be at TDC. It was really a matter of semantics......I was trying to think in terms of what Jaron was trying to understand. I struggled with calling the flywheel mark TDC. It could be interpreted as anytime the flywheel is at zero, then there is a TDC designation. But, in your post, TDC could have been in any cylinder. So, once again, I just specified what was to be checked. I hope that clarifes my intent to be more specific. I recalled in the past, others have mistaken the zero mark on the flywheel for an indication of TDC, and as you know, that is not the case. Thanks for your understanding.
