A couple of things you might want to check first. The top mechanism is really pretty massive and very rarely get lubricated. You could have a hinge point that is starting to freeze up. I would lubricate the entire mechanism-(no small task, it has to be done with the top in various positions). Put it up and down a couple of times and then feel the variuous hinges to see if any of them are warm (which means it's seizing). I would then check the hydrolic rams and see if maybe one is leaking and not pushing that side all the way up. I don't know if the adjustments could make it do this. If they physically look to be adjusted the same then the problem is elsewhere. You might need to remove the head liner and watch top mechainism operate a few times to figure out where the problem it. It could be more along the lines of a broken hinge point or something like that. Bentley has a good section on the adjustments, but I have a hunch that isn't your problem.
