Changed the crank shaft seal and oil pump o ring yesterday, thought I would post some notes for anyone else needing to do the same. Not too bad a job, took a while. I had enough room to do everything from above, and could see what do once I took moved the AC mount out of the way. The tightest fit were the 3 bolts holding the outer pully on the crank pully. I just bumped the motor over with a remote starter to get the bolts to the top and was able to feel my way with my finger tips. I already had a cut down 27 MM socket, and again bumped the motor with my homemade remote starter button and the crank pully bolt loosened right up. After that it was a straight forward repair and replace, no problems.
The Townshead tech sheet was very clear and a great help http://townsheadimports.com/Web/engine_folder/front_crank_seal900.htm
Hope this helps anyone dreading the same job. If I was doing it again I might put in a new water pump just because it would be so easy, and new belts as well.
