oil tomorrow. had a spare engine to experiment with the valve removal on, so was prepped for the job. problem was access, but i was determined to not have to pull the pulley and pump. from what i had read, once the valve was out (there are no pictures in bently)the oil will take the problem away. just clean out the oil way in the valve to be sure. i just turned the engine over a couple of turns to flush it out while the valve was out. actually i did that first to push the valve the last bit out first. getting the bolt/cover back on was the hardest part. actually getting 2 hands on it at the same time is tough, and if i had forearms like i used to... it wouldn't have happened!got a few scratches, lots of oil in my hair, but fXXX, was it worth it!!!! 20 minutes!!!! highlight of my week-except for the completion of the overhead engine hoist, of course... ah, projects, projects....
